Our baby is 4 months!

Hunter officially turned 4 months old May 21st! He was already over 17 weeks that day, but I guess we stop counting his age in weeks now. We have had a busy May. I got to celebrate my first Mother's Day with Hunter, and even though it was raining and yucky outside we enjoyed the day. Hunter was dedicated at church and we had a yummy lunch out before spending the rest of the afternoon hanging out at home. A few days after that one of my best friend's gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, so that weekend made a little trip up to Brentwood to see them. Hunter seemed even bigger than he already is next to a little newborn. I had my hair done that weekend so Hunter got his first mini hair cut. Mark wanted the sides trimmed so he didn't have hair growing over his ears ;) so my hairdresser gave it the trimmer treatment. He was a little freaked out by the loud noise it made, but did good =)

Last weekend we went to a wedding of one of my dear high school friends. Hunter did great! After the bride, he was the next most popular person there - everyone was ooohhing and aahhhing over him.

Yesterday Hunter had his 4 month appt, and he had to get another set of 4 shots. He was not happy at all, but calmed down quickly afterwards. Unfortunately, the shots didn't sit well with him and he whimpered a lot last night and woke up at 3am with a 102 degree fever. We stripped him down to his diaper and took his temp an hour later and it dropped to almost 100, which was good. Today he's doing better, no more fever, but he's still cranky so we're hanging at home. He is a BIG BOY =) He measured 27" long and weighed in at 17.8 pounds - 90th percentile in both categories. His doctor said he's just on a big growth curve and probably won't slow down til he's about 9 months old. Which means he'll still be hungry every 3 hours at night until then - so we have lots to look forward to ;)

This weekend we're going to visit both sets of grandparents, so pray for happy car rides for us ;)
