I posted a guessing game a few weeks back to guess Hunter's weight, length and due date & time - and the winner is my Grandma! She was the closest on all four - guessing 8lbs, 5oz for weight, 21" in height, 7am for delivery time & the 21st for the day. Hunter was 8lbs, 13oz, 20.5" long, born at 1:00am on the 21st. Congrats, Grandma!!!
Hunter is 9 days old today - I can't believe it's been over a week already. He is eating well & sleeping a lot - though he definitely likes his awake time that often happens in the middle of the night. He's not really a fan of the co-sleeper, he would much rather stay snuggled in bed with mom & dad. He has some jaundice when we left the hospital and we had to use a "bili-blanket" (UV light blanket) on him for a couple days at home, but his bilirubin levels have dropped and we're done with the blanket. We go back to the pediatrician on Monday for a check up.
We are so appreciative of our friends & family who have come to visit and have brought us food. And for the very nice cards & emails we've been receiving from those of you who aren't close enough to come by. It's really nice to see faces besides my doctor and the pediatrician - and the food has been a huge help. Thank you!
Time to go... the little man seems hungry. =)
